Amazon Smile

HEROS is always pleased to find ways for you to show your support for the work the charity does without costing you a penny.
HEROS Charity have enrolled in a new program launched by Amazon – Amazon Smile!
Simply select HEROS as your nominated charity and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price for any qualifying orders you place.
In order to nominate HEROS as your charity please visit smile.amazon.co.uk and log in to your Amazon account as normal, you will then be prompted to search for your chosen charity. Once you’ve selected HEROS simply use the link smile.amazon.co.uk and shop as you normally would.

Sponsorship at events that we host is vital to the success of our fundraising efforts. We are extremely lucky to have, and thankful for, the continued support of loyal sponsors, but we would love to welcome more supporters for events.

Sponsorship can range from £30 to infinity (and beyond!) so there is something to suit all budgets.

Make HEROS charity your company ‘CHARITY OF THE YEAR’

Whether large or small there are benefits to supporting a charity for the year including team building and pulling everyone together for a target. We will promote you through our website and social media platforms, in our newsletters and through our events. Plus we can also organise visit days here at HEROS Charity to show everyone involved just how the money raised helps.

You are event welcome to have a board meeting at our Swallows Nest facility to make a full day of the trip. Please get in touch to discuss making HEROS your charity of the year

GIFT AID

HEROS Chairty can accept donations in several ways; whichever way you choose, please help us by using Gift Aid if you can. Under the Gift Aid scheme, charities can reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

You just have to complete a declaration saying that you pay enough tax to cover what the charity will reclaim from HM Revenue & Customs.

And it gets better. If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can reclaim tax relief on your gross donation at 20% (i.e. the difference between the higher rate of tax at 40% and the basic rate at 20%). That means that for every pound you give away, you can get 20p back from the taxman – which you can keep, or give to charity. So the taxman could actually reward you for your generosity.
