Tributes

Somewhere in time’s own space
There must be some sweet pastured place

Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.

‘Forget Me Not Garden’ – a place to remember

We have are taken on a enviromental project as a tribute to MONSIGNOR and all the #HEROShorses who have moved on from us.  North Farm Stud and HEROS Chairty have decided to plant a Memorial Garden in their honour. The area we have chosen is in a particularly beautiful place on the estate with far reaching views over this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

If you would like to make donation (in memory of your horse/or in all their memories) please click on the Donate button below to make a donation or contact the office to discuss.

Each tree will cost approximately £50 to purchase and plant and it is hoped that eventually benches and memory plaques can be added so that visitors can spend some time there.

SILVER WEDGE was a wonderful racehorse for his owners Mr and Mrs Robins winning on the flat, over hurdles and in chases collecting almost £200,000 between 1993 and 2000 including a Royal Ascot Flat race and…
RAPPORTEUR was put to sleep in August 2012 with his friend MURPHY (racing name ASSEMBLY DANCER. They had been together here for 14 years and were both given to Grace after their, very different, racing careers.
Here we pay tribute to the many people who have shared our passion for the Thoroughbred but are sadly no longer with us…
