HEROS Charity Named Official Charity Partner of London International Horse Show 2026
HEROS Charity (Homing Ex-Racehorses Organisation Scheme) is delighted to announce that it has been selected as the Official Charity Partner of London International Horse Show 2026.
The prestigious event, which takes place at Excel London from 17 to 21 December 2026, is one of the highlights of the equestrian calendar, attracting more than 80,000 visitors and showcasing the very best of international equestrian sport and entertainment.
Founded in 2006 by Grace Muir MBE, HEROS Charity is dedicated to creating brighter futures for both horses and young people. Over the past 20 years, the charity has become renowned for its work retraining, rehabilitating and rehoming former racehorses, helping hundreds of horses transition successfully into new careers and loving homes. Alongside its equine welfare work, HEROS delivers innovative education and training programmes that support young people through vocational learning, personal development and equine-assisted education.
As Official Charity Partner, HEROS will have the opportunity to raise awareness of its work among the wider equestrian community throughout the year and during the Show itself. The partnership will provide valuable opportunities for fundraising, engagement and collaboration, helping the charity continue its life-changing work with both horses and young people.
Visitors to London International Horse Show 2026 will also have the opportunity to be among the first to learn about an exciting new HEROS initiative, which will be officially launched during the event. The initiative will further strengthen the charity’s commitment to supporting former racehorses and creating opportunities for young people. HEROS is encouraging all visitors to stop by its stand throughout the Show to meet the team, discover more about its work and be part of this exciting new chapter in the charity’s development.

The partnership also reflects the strong connection between the Show and retraining of former racehorses. Over the coming months, HEROS will work closely with the Show team on a range of fundraising and awareness initiatives, helping to highlight the charity’s impact and engage supporters from across the equestrian and racing industries.
