HEROS Charity awarded £1,000 betting slip competition at Ascot Racecourse
HEROS Charity is delighted to be a the lucky the recipient of a £1,000 award from Britain’s most prestigious and iconic racecourse, Ascot.
Ascot Racecourse ran a competition between two charities throughout the jump season, with HEROS being one of the chosen charities. Racegoers were urged to post their loosing betting slips into boxes located around the course stating which charity they would like to benefit from the £1,000 award. The charity with the largest number of votes was awarded £1,000 and the charity in second was awarded £500. Everyone who voted, were also entered into a prize draw with the chance to win hospitality at Ascot Racecourse.
On Royal Ascot Trials Day, HEROS and their guests were treated to a wonderful lunch in the Ascot Authority box and were invited to choose the best turned out award and to do the presentation of The Bet With Ascot Donation Scheme Paradise Stakes. A fantastic day was enjoyed by all and congratulations to the connections of the winner Quddwah.
